The Review of Religions was started in 1902 by Hadhrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (as), the founder of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community. As a devout Muslim he passionately defended the honour of not only the Prophet of Islam, Muhammad (saw), but also all Prophets of God. He was a scholar of immense repute and his works expounding the beauties of Islam and its peaceful teachings won him wide acclaim. He also had a vast knowledge of other religions and was a prolific writer with over 88 books to his name.
